ℹ️ New workspace experience
This article covers how labels can use Record Union with our new experience, which we're gradually rolling out. Still on the old experience? Find info about how labels use Record Union here.
Yes! Record Union is currently used by thousands of labels to manage their digital catalogs and release new music.
Regardless of the plan you choose, you’ll have a workspace where you can manage everything related to your releases. Learn more about workspaces here. If you’re a registered company, you can add your company billing details to your workspace. These details will then appear on all invoices and receipts.
Collaborate with Pro
With our Pro plan, you can scale your setup by inviting team members to your workspace. This makes it easier for everyone involved to collaborate throughout the entire Record Union platform.
Instead of one person handling everything, your team of artists, producers, managers, and other collaborators can work together in one place. Ownership, royalty splits and roles are clearly defined, so everyone has access to the information they need. No more chasing people across messages and spreadsheets. Everything happens in one place, from releases and revenue to performance across your catalog.
With Pro, you’ll have:
Collaborators with their own accounts — no more shared logins
Ability to create multiple workspaces to keep teams and projects separate
Royalty splits visible and agreed on from day one
Roles assigned so everyone knows what they’re responsible for
A clear overview of ownership across every release
Revenue tracked and distributed across your team
Analytics across your full catalog, not just release by release
Add your label name to a release
All our plans offer the option to add a label name to your release. To do so, go to the Availability page when editing your release draft and find the Record Label section. Select Add a label name to the copyright line, where you can enter your own label name.
The label name will be included in your release metadata and sent to the streaming services.
